The ROBIN REDBREAST is the only bird which sings CONTINUOUSLY throughout the dark Irish winters and is one of the very few small birds that choose to WINTER IN IRELAND. It is this ENDURING SPIRIT which inspires its namesake, Redbreast Irish Whiskey.
This cask was exclusively HAND SELECTED by our Master Blender, BILLY LEIGHTON. Laid down to MATURE in the MIDLETON DISTILLERY, this cask represents a UNIQUE and SINGULAR NUANCED expression of Redbreast.
This Redbreast ALL SHERRY SINGLE CASK is a joy to behold in each and every bottle.
Nose: Initial wood spice character with the Oloroso wine influence adding a rich contribution of dried fruits with a mild nutty nose in the background. The sweeten bald over time adding a touch of conferonary candy with the pot sill spice adding further depth and complexity.
Taste: Begins with a silky mouthconting texture, typical of the pot sill character with a delicate sweet vanilla presence that eventually, sibsides with tannins and a bitter nuttiness building over time along with hints of dried fruit.
Finish: The pot still sices and tannis linger allowing the many years of aging in oak shine thorugh until the very end.
